The business grew from a simple practical need. Through her legal work, Spanish lawyer Virginia Ramos regularly encountered international clients who needed more than legal advice when buying property — they needed someone to help them understand where to look, find properties, attend viewings, communicate with agents and manage the practical side of the search.
Helen Moffatt brought a background in sales and negotiation, her own experience of buying property and living in Spain, and an understanding of what it's like to navigate the process from an international buyer's perspective.

Helen works directly with clients from the first video call through search, viewings, negotiation and completion. Originally from the UK and based in the Seville area, she works in English and Spanish — and much of the work happens out on the ground, not behind a desk.

Haven and Virginia’s legal practice remain in close communication throughout the property journey. The property search, viewings and commercial negotiation do not happen in isolation from the legal process — relevant information moves between both sides as the purchase progresses.
Virginia also provides ongoing legal and governance guidance around Haven’s working practices, helping us maintain appropriate processes, transparency and professional standards. Transaction-specific legal advice and representation remain separately provided through her independent legal practice.
